Join us for another ‘Shark Night’ at 901 Columbus Avenue in the heart of North Beach, San Francisco, on August 4th, 2023.
Local filmmaker, Skyler Thomas, will speak briefly on the history of the actual White Shark Cafe in the Pacific Ocean as well as the controversy of the disappearance of white sharks in South Africa, once considered the white shark capital of the world.
The evening will be capped by a special talk from local shark diving pioneer, James Moskito the owner & operator of OceanSafaris.com, who led trips to the Farallon Islands and Guadalupe Island to see white sharks dating back to the late 1990s. James will share a few of his most amazing stories and footage as well as offer an exclusive discount for his upcoming trips that will only be revealed at the event
We will proudly be featuring two beers from The Lost Coast Brewery, long-time supporters of Skyler’s white shark conservation efforts. Funds generated that evening will go to the nonprofit, Independent Arts and Media, which assists in covering the expenses of local educational events, such as this one, and production of conservation films.
With the theme of the White Shark Cafe taking center stage, the deal of the night will be the purchase of a new, custom-designed ‘White Shark Cafe San Francisco’ t-shirt. Any t-shirt purchase includes two free Lost Coast beers. But arrive early, only 40 of these limited edition shirts are available! Single pours of the beers (without the shirts) that evening will be $4.00.
The opening presentation will be at 7:00 PM. Shirt and beer sales start at 5 PM and will continue until closing or whenever supplies run out.
The cafe will still be offering food service from their kitchen and a full menu of other drink options.
